  1. Traveling with Vireak Buntham Express (VET) or VET Air Bus from any destination to Sihanoukville offers a worry-free connection to your island getaway. When you arrive at the VET Bus Station, simply proceed to the Buva Sea Ticket Counter to claim your free pick-up service to the pier for your speed boat to Koh Rong, Koh Rong Samloem, or Koh Sdach. Best of all, you never have to worry about missing your ferry; if your bus is delayed by traffic or an unforeseen incident, Buva Sea Cambodia will automatically arrange for you to travel on the next available ferry schedule at no extra cost.

Check-In & Boarding Policy

  1. All passengers must arrive at the pier designated on their ticket at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. This window is essential for ticket verification, luggage handling, and manifest finalization.
  2. Buva Sea Cambodia operates on a precise schedule to respect the travel plans of all passengers. Please be advised that late arrivals resulting in a missed departure are not eligible for a refund.
  3. We strongly encourage all guests to plan their arrival at the pier in advance to avoid travel disruptions.

Infant and Child Ticket Policy

  1. Infants under 5 years old: No ticket is required; they must sit on an adult's lap.
  2. Children aged 5 and older: Must purchase a ticket at the adult price.

Baggage Allowance

  1. Checked Baggage: Passengers are allowed a maximum of 30kg of checked baggage.
  2. Carry-On Item: One carry-on item is allowed.
  3. Overweight Baggage: Additional charges will apply for baggage exceeding the weight limit, based on the local delivery fee.

Prohibited Items

  1. Buva Sea Cambodia maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding prohibited items. Specifically, it is strictly forbidden to bring firearms, narcotics, or any smuggled and illegal products onboard our vessels. Furthermore, passengers are prohibited from carrying any dangerous, flammable, or explosive items. Adherence to these safety regulations is mandatory to maintain our commitment to professional protection and passenger peace of mind.

Pets

  1. Small pets (weighing less than 6kg) are allowed on the boat, provided they are in a proper cage or safely secured.

Passenger Responsibilities

  1. Passengers are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings and valuables. Buva Sea Cambodia is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.

Passenger Safety Regulations

  1. Life jackets must be worn by all passengers during emergencies. Locate your life jacket before departure.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the locations of emergency exits. Follow crew instructions during an evacuation.
  3. Remain seated when the ferry is in motion. Avoid running or engaging in disruptive behavior.
  4. Keep personal items secure and out of aisles to ensure clear pathways for emergencies.
  5. Smoking is prohibited inside the ferry. Designated smoking areas will be provided outside.
  6. Excessive intoxication may result in removal from the ferry for safety reasons.
  7. Children must be supervised at all times. Pets are allowed only in designated areas and must be leashed.
  8. Pay attention to safety briefings. Know the emergency procedures and the location of safety equipment.
  9. Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to the crew immediately.

Ticket Policy

  1. Purchased tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged for future trips. Exchanges must be processed at least 12 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  2. One Way Ticket: Tickets are available for one-way journey.
  3. Passengers with one-way tickets can request a return ticket with our website www.buvasea.com or our agents at your accommodation. This will enable you to book a Buva Sea Cambodia ticket back to the mainland or other island.

The "Pivot" Flex-Return or Return Ticket

  1. At Buva Sea, we believe your journey should be as fluid as the ocean. Our Flex-Return Policy ensures that your adventure doesn't have to end where it started.
  2. Any passenger holding a valid Adult Round-Trip ticket may choose to "Pivot" their return destination at no additional cost.
  3. Use your return leg to head back to the Sihanoukville Mainland or continue your discovery to Koh Sdach (King Island).
  4. To utilize this "Pivot" option or return back the mainland, you must notify our team or ticket agents at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

Possibility Delay

  1. Please be aware that our schedule may experience delays due to weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding that any delays are a result of these factors and not a cause for complaint.

  1. Our boat will be making stops at various piers, and our staff will provide announcements upon arrival at each location to keep you informed.
